Danasyariah Holds “Tenang Pensiun” Seminar in Bekasi, Equipping Participants with Islamic Financial Literacy
Jakarta — PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (Danasyariah) continues to demonstrate its commitment to expanding Islamic financial literacy through the organization of a seminar titled “Tenang Pensiun: Empowered, Financially Smart & Productive”, held on Thursday (August 14) at Hotel Santika Mega City Bekasi.
The event was attended by more than 30 participants from various private institutions and government agencies in Bekasi, consisting of individuals preparing for retirement as well as those who have already entered the retirement phase. The seminar aimed to provide comprehensive insights into managing retirement funds wisely, safely, and in accordance with sharia principles, while also encouraging participants to remain productive and empowered.
The keynote speaker, Salihuddin, CFP, IFP, CPBC, a certified financial planner, delivered two main sessions. The first session discussed Fundamental Retirement Activity, emphasizing the importance of cultivating a prosperous retirement mindset, exploring personal potential, and designing meaningful post-retirement activities. The second session focused on Post-Retirement Financial Planning, covering strategies for asset management, cash flow planning to avoid the risk of depleting funds, and an introduction to safe and profitable sharia-based investment instruments.
In addition to the educational content, the seminar also featured a presentation by Salman Alfarisie, Head of Marketing and Strategic Sales Division at Danasyariah, who introduced the concept of sharia-based funding through the company’s fintech peer-to-peer (P2P) financing platform. This scheme provides an opportunity for retirees to continue earning passive income by financing property projects listed on the Danasyariah platform.
The Bekasi seminar is part of Danasyariah’s ongoing Islamic financial literacy program, consistently carried out across various cities in Indonesia. Through this initiative, Danasyariah hopes to support retirees in achieving a prosperous, independent, and productive retirement.
